Uncle Joe’s Fish Camp

Established just after the end of World War II, using cabins purchased and relocated from Riddle Field in Clewiston where British airmen trained during the war, Uncle Joe’s Fish Camp, 1699 Griffin Rd, Moore Haven, FL 33471,  is a favorite destination for fishermen and duck hunters as well as hikers and bikers accessing the adjacent Lake Okeechobee Scenic Trail.  Visitors can camp on the property – tent camping or RV – or rent a cabin or a motel room.  Put in your boat at the boat ramp or rent one.
